Every mother fears the days when their darling sons introduce them to their girlfriends and looks like Akshara is just about to face the same fear.In the recent episodes of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Bhabhimaa finally accepts Akshara (Hina Khan) and the entire family finally reunites. Naitik (Karan Mehra) and Akshara go back to Cape Town to wrap up their business and all their belongings to come back to India. While they are away Naksh (Rohan Mehra) and Naira (Ashnoor Kaur) plan their remarriage in India.Naksh gets together with all the Maheshwaris and Singhanias to get his parents remarried. When Naksh came to India, he was not alone. He brought his best friend Sanju along with him. No one really knows that Naksh is secretly in love with Sanju although she just treats him as his friend. When Sanju gets kicked out of the hostel, Naksh decides to get her home.
He tells the Maheshwaris that Sanju couldn’t digest the hostel food and wanted to see an Indian wedding, hence, he brought her home. Oblivious to his intensions, the family accept her with arms wide open, but Akshara smells something dubious. She always had a feeling that there was something more to Naksh and Sanju’s friendship than what meets the eye. Hence Akshara didn’t really approve of Sanju’s presence in her house.
We’ll soon figure out whether Naksh will be able to transform his friendship into love and if Sanju wil accept it or not. If they do go ahead and become a couple, we wonder how Akshara will react. She is already worried about Sanju taking her son away from her like most typical mothers of sons, but it will be interesting to see is Akshara is any different
